Two In A Row

The storm started the weekend with a 6-0 win over 100 Mile House! With Max James lead the the way with 3 goals and 1 assist. Other goals were scored by Felix Larouche (plus 1 assist), Brock Balson and Brett Watkinson. Spencer Schoek and Daniel Buchanan had 2  assists each, and Bobby Kashuba, Jason Anderson, Matt Dimor and Luke Gordon all had single assists. The Storm outshot the Wranglers 69 to 21. Despite the score the Wranglers goalie Nathan Warren was outstanding; In the first period he robbed several of what looked like sure goals and kept the score close. The Wranglers were short benched and played strong but the Storm controlled the play. Our next game is against Chase at MacAruthur Island arena. After that the Storm are back on the road to Sicamous before the Wranglers come to KamloopsFlooking for revenge. A great performance by Kyle Micholovsky in getting his first junior shut out in goal.  Kyle and another kamloops product max James had great games for the Storm. Kyle with his shut out and max with the hat truck.
